AIMS

1. The Society's activities will initially focus on education and the raising of awareness, both at the family level as well as generally of this disease, while giving emphasis to providing requisite guidance to our youth and making them aware of specific cancer-related risks of modern living. All this will be accomplished through lectures and seminars, the use of targeted media channels such as films and television, and the introduction of educational programmes in schools which would be conducted throughout the year to address such important issues as prevention.
2. The Society's activities will also encompass the provision of assistance and support for those who suffer from the disease, as well as their families, by providing specific services and financial aid where and when necessary.
3. In addition, the Society will engage in: -
   The issue of publications, under the direction and supervision of related specialists in the medical field, that would help in spreading knowledge and awareness among various age groups in our community.
4. Promoting relevant research and study, including the compiling of local statistics.
5. Participating in relevant conferences and seminars.
6. Organizing fund raising events in aid of patients requiring financial assistance.
